Addison at 3 Weeks
More Babies at the Petersen Home!!!!
Happy Mother's Day!!!
Addison Meets Family in Florida
Thank You Mom and Dad
I just wanted to say thank you again to my both of my parents. My mom was able to come help me after I delivered Addison. When she is here I am so blessed because she takes care of all my household chores! (So much better than I ever could!) She is the best mom I could ever ask for and I miss her terribly when we're not together. She is such a good mother to me and my siblings. She is an even better Nana to her grandchildren. She and my dad helped Curtis do some spring cleaning while they were here.
I would also like to say thank you to my dad who also came when Addison was born. He pretty much built us a new fence around our house and it looks amazing!!! I was very impressed! He worked very hard everyday....ALL day. I know that it was probably not what he had in mind to do when he came, but he never complained. He is the best dad I could ever ask for and I miss him terribly, too. I know he misses me, but he misses my kids even more. Landon lights up when he sees my dad. Papa takes Landon everywhere when they're together and always wants him to come back to see him sooner. My dad is a good man with a good heart.
Thanks mom and dad! Curtis and I can't thank you enough for EVERYTHING! Love you SO SO much!!!!
Landon 2nd Birthday!!!!
He has started to talk more and more; and you can actually put together what he trying say now! My favorite thing he says is when we put him in his bed at night he kisses us and say, "Bye. Love you. Bye." (As he waves to us walking out of his room.)
Landon loves animals, anything with a steering wheel, puzzles, and to play outside (either jumping on the trampoline or swinging). For his birthday Curtis and I decided to get him a four wheeler. I think we under estimated how much he would love it....he will ride on the four wheeler until the battery has died and then he just pretend that he riding for hours!!! It's so cute to see how excited he gets when he sees his four wheeler in our garage.
My brother, Don, got Landon a T-ball set for Christmas and since then Landon has come to love to hit the ball. He has a bit of a lazy streak because he will only play if you get the ball for him. However, we are working on playing "outfield."
Toy Story has become Landon's favorite movie. Buzz Lightyear is his favorite character. For his birthday Nana Wainwright got him a Buzz that has a laser and he takes it everywhere. He used to take Gerry (his giraffe) everywhere, now it's Buzz except for bedtime. He also got two really cool puzzles from the Petersen grandparents that he really loves. One is a train and it makes cool train noises when you put all the pieces together and the other is door locks that he will sit and try to undo forever! Thanks for all the cool birthday presents!
I love to watch Landon grow and see all the changes in his personality. He makes me smile everyday. I love him more and more everyday. He has become the best big brother to Addison. He now loves to hold her and kiss her. He is very good about getting her the pacifier. I have started to let me help me with her a lot more (bottle feeding, diaper changes, bath time) and he gets really excited to know he's my helper.
Curtis and I truly have been very blessed with Landon. He brings joy to our lives everyday. I hate to admit it, but he is a daddy's boy for sure. One day that will change, but for now I love to see the happiness in Curtis's eyes when he plays with Landon.
Happy 2nd Birthday Landon!!!!! We love you very much!
