Homecoming 2011 Parade

We met Nana and Papa at the courthouse for the Homecoming parade. The kids were SUPER excited. They all surrounded Papa and watched the parade around him. I think this was the first parade my dad had been to in like 10 years! He does not do crowds....at all. That's how I KNOW he loves the grandkids!

Happy Halloween 2011

Gracie is your typical girl always wanting to be a Princess. This year she was Repunzel (with a crown and no long hair).   :) 

After trick-or-treating we went to Pizza Hut. The kids and Nana decided they would all be princesses.

Cooper's costume is simply priceless. He is so chunky and it was perfect for him!

Addison is 18-Months-Old

On October 21st Addison turned 18-months-old. She is a very happy, smiley, energetic little girl with a HEFTY appetite. :) She keeps me on my toes! She has started entering the terrible twos, but I think she is going to be mild compared to her brother.... She LOVES her baby dolls. She is obsessed with feeding them bottles and changing their diapers. I think it's awesome her mothering skills are shining through so young in age. Addison is a very sweet girl. She is very affectionate and loves to give  hugs. She snuggles with me in the morning and it starts my day out right. I love that when she is tired and ready for bed she says "Amen." She is starting to really talk a lot now and she tests the pitch of her voice quite often, which gets her in a lot of trouble at church. If all little girls are this easy and loving count me in to have more, but knowing my luck I would end up with a little terror! She is really started to wrap herself around her daddy's finger. She demands his attention now, which I think is hilarious. Curtis has been so used to doing his own thing with Landon (simply because he's a boy) and now this baby girl sees she can get his attention, too. She wakes up every morning and yells from her bed, "Mama. Baby up." I just love her and I could go on and on about how funny and silly and beautiful she is to Curtis and I.

Library Field Trip

Landon and Gracie's school took them on a field trip to the library. They got to sing and dance and be characters in the story time. They sang "Twinkle Star" and read "How does Mama Lamb Say Hello to You." They danced to kid pop songs and I think that was their favorite part. Everyone knows Landon loves to shake his "Groove Thing."

Chicken Dance

The music for the chicken dance played on the television and I jokingly did it for Landon and Addison. Then it became a dance lesson doing it over and over and over for Landon. Addison wasn't too enthused about it, but Landon was serious! I laugh at the things this kid does everyday!

School Fall Festival

This is the "Shrek Monster" according to Landon.

 The class was split up into 4 groups. This was Landon's group.
