Landon's 3rd Birthday

This year we were in the middle of packing up our house to move to Las Vegas and it would be nearly impossible to have a birthday party at our house so we decided to have Landon's party at Monkey Island. It was a blast with the kids and adults. I think the guys had just as much fun, if not more, than the kids!

At three-years-old Landon is a very energetic, outgoing, curious, and ambitious little guy! He definitely keeps his dad and I on our toes! He loves his "buggy" (Arctic Cat), Woody and Buzz Lightyear anything (still...), and baseball. He has endless energy and sometimes it's hard for me to keep up with him! He has a very curious mind. He ask "Why?" to anything and everything. He loves Jax. From the minute he wakes up in the morning until we put him to bed he's always asking, "I go get my Jax. Ok mom?" Addison and Landon are starting to play together more. She can do "stuff" like Landon and he likes to share his toys with her (only the toys he says she can have). He is a very loving little boy, too. I tell my kids throughout the day that I love them to the moon and past the stars. Now Landon will walks by me and tell me, " I wuv you trinkle stars and da moon mommy." He loves, loves, loves his daddy. You can ask him, "Is your daddy your best friend?" and he will say, "No. Jax my bes fran. My daddy my bes daddy." I take that as Jax is his bud, but daddy is his heart! He seems to amaze me everyday with something new. He is always wanting to go to his Papa's house. I'm not sure what the correlation is, but I cannot take Landon to the bank with me because he assumes that we can go to Papa's house then and will throw down with me to take him to his Papa. Anytime he sees tractors, bulldozers, etc. he thinks they're his Papa's. Anything that has a steering wheel and tires Landon is all about. He likes to figure things out, too. His daddy was taking apart his bed and Landon was telling him what tools to use. According to Curtis he was dead on! I'm sure we've got many good days ahead of us with Landon. Age 2 was a trying one...I am sure that 3 will be no different. My love for him grows more and more everyday. He is a special little boy that knows how to melt his mommy and daddy's heart! We love you Landon! Happy 3rd Birthday!

Itty-Bitty Baseball

This year Landon was old enough to play baseball at the Legacy Center. He loved it! His team was the Dodgers. The gym was turned into stations for kids to learn about baseball (hitting, throwing, catching, sportsmanship, etc.). Landon did really well at all of them....except when they sat in a huddle to talk about "stuff." Then his mind kind of wondered off and I had to remind him that playing baseball meant that he had to attend it all! It was fun to watch him and Jax play. I bet they're MLB players in the making for sure!!!!

Happy Easter!

The Easter Bunny came to our house and left Landon and Addison lots of goodies! Later that day we had an egg hunt with the Oylers. They looked so precious in their church outfits!

Addison's First Birthday!

She just melts my heart with this face!

Tyce is so HAPPY to be at the party....and to wear the hat. :)

A little bit about my Addi... She is the sweetest, happiest baby you'll ever meet. She is a mama's girl through and through. She is a very "busy" baby and keeps me on my toes. She loves to go through my cabinets and pull everything in them out. She loves to put everything in her mouth...and she fights me to take it out. She can stand on her on, but is taking her time on the walking. She now knows how to go down the stairs on her own (something I've been trying to teach her for months!). She smiles constantly! I love to go in her room in the morning when she wakes up. She smiles as she's waiving to me and says so sweetly and soft, "Hi, Hey." I don't know why she says both, but it makes me smile every morning. She is a very picky eater (something I never had to worry about with Landon). Her favorite foods are bread, cheese, popcorn puffs, and chocolate milk. She loves to have her picture taken (maybe because I take too many...) She loves her baby dolls and is always talking to them and hugging and kissing them. I  love to watch her be the little "mama" and she's just a baby to me! She crawls around me all day long. Most of the time I get annoyed with it because she's always right in my way, but she smiles at me and all my frustration is gone. She's the best shopping buddy....She wants to buy everything she can reach and put in the cart on her own. Watch out daddy, you're going to be broke! There's so many things about Addi that are special, these are just a few. Her daddy and I adore her more and more everyday!

On her real birthday, April 21st, we threw Addison a birthday party. The Oylers came to the party Addison was very sick on her birthday and did not touch her cupcake at all! I was very surprised because I thought it would make her feel better to dig in a cupcake and destroy it, but she just wanted me to hold her. Everyone else enjoyed cake and ice cream and treat bags. I attempted to be a cupcake decorator for this party and I realized 2 things. (1) I hate decorating cake and (2) I am no good at decorating cake. Oh well, I tried. Happy First Birthday Addison! We love you!
