Landon's First Parade

On Friday June 27th I took Landon to the Lehi Round-up Days parade. He was sleeping through the entire parade until the band came....but he loved the music. (Just like mom, the band is his favorite part.) Wendi got Landon and Jax a sun hat. Jax's hat fit, but Landon's was a bit small for his head. He really liked the parade and we are definitely excited about the Fourth of July parade!

Curtis + Golf - Sunblock = BURNT

Monday was our neighbor Tim's birthday and he invited Curtis to go golfing with him for the day. Curtis was not aware that he would need sun block and came home burnt! I tried not to laugh, but when we took a picture together I told him to smile and he replied, "I can't....it hurts too bad." The picture speaks for itself! (He now has a full body "farmer's tan.")

Landon Goes to Church

We took Landon to church for the first time on Sunday June 22nd. He looked so ADORABLE! Mr. GQ for sure! (My husband too!)

Happy First Father's Day Curtis!

Curtis is the best dad to Landon and Molly. He definitely makes our home very entertaining! We love our daddy and hope he enjoyed his first Father's Day. I also want to tell my dad how much he means to me, too. He is an amazing father who I look up to everyday. I love you Dad!

Bon Apetite!

I wish everyone could have seen Molly eat this left over chicken alfredo. She is so funny! We don't have any other dogs, so she has no competition with her food. I decided to let her eat my left overs and she went to town! It was everywhere when she got done! My favorite was trying to clean her up..... It was all inside of her nose!

Nurse Jill Comes For A Visit

Nurse Jill came to our home on June 17th to check on Landon's progression. He now weighs 6lbs 14oz and is 21½ inches long! He's growing so fast! Nurse Jill was very impressed at how well he's eating and gaining weight. (Watch out Jax and Gracie......He's catching up!)

Landon's First Trip to the MTC

("New Missionary Enter Here")

(Receiving her "Sister Lewis" missionary tag.)

Today we said our goodbyes to "Sister Lewis" at the MTC in Provo, Utah. It was quite chilly today so I wasn't able to uncover Landon for some good pictures, but give us 19 years....we'll have some good ones! Michelle will be at the MTC for 3 weeks and then she is off to Omaha, Nebraska! She's going to be such an awesome missionary and we will miss her!

A Long Day at Work

This picture is so funny to me! Curtis always feeds Landon when he comes home from work. This picture looks like Landon has had a long, hard day at work instead of Curtis! He's just too wiped out from all the eating and sleeping he does ALL day long! (By the way, can you see how big he's getting? He's growing so fast! He's out grown his pajamas! )

Our "Baby Einstein"

Landon is now able to focus in on colorful objects. Nana Wainwright got this Baby Einstein play mat for him and he loves it! He will sit under the singing dog as long as it plays music and flashes its lights.

"I Love Grandma"

Landon has just started spitting up. So to avoid the nasty smell of sour milk I decided to put a bib on him. I think he'll have plenty of coverage! It covers his whole body! His bib says "I Love Grandma." I wanted to get a picture of a Grandpa one too, but I guess my mom was a little partial when she purchased these.... They ALL say "I Love Grandma." No worries, he's got enough love to go around for everyone!

Landon and "Shell-Shell"

This week Uncle Larry, Aunt Dena, and Michelle Lewis came to our house to see Landon. Michelle is leaving to go on a mission Wednesday, June 11. We are so excited for her! This was the first time they had seen Landon. Morgan (Michelle's sister) will be having a baby boy, Lane, anytime now. According to Aunt Dena, he's already bigger than Landon and he's not even born yet!

Sleepy Baby

Landon will only sleep face down. We've tried to get him to sleep on his back, but he's not having it! So he sleeps with us so we can make sure he breathes okay. I took this picture this morning after he slept for 5 hours straight! It's hard to see it in the picture, but he had a pool of drool around his mouth.... (Curtis says he sleeps just like me, and acts just like me when he doesn't get enough sleep.)

"Just Like Daddy"

Landon loves when daddy comes home from work. He even likes reading the paper with daddy!

Finally Big Enough for Size "Newborn"

Today Landon is one month old! I wanted to show everyone how big he is. We went to the doctor he is now 5lbs 7oz. Preemie clothes are getting too short for him to wear, so I thought today we would try on some size "newborn." He doesn't quite fill them out yet, but soon he will. (Check out those rolls on his legs! I'm so proud of them!)

Jax and Landon

This picture was taken the day we brought Landon home from the hospital. Jax is Landon's best friend that lives across the street. These pictures are so sweet of them. Jax is a "little bit" bigger than Landon, but he'll soon catch up! Jax and Landon will be best buds just like their daddy's are. Wendi and I are definitely going to have our hands full if the're anything like them!

"Golly Little Miss Molly"

Molly was our first "baby." Nana and Papa Wainwright gave her to us as a honeymoon gift in Decemeber 2006. She has really been an adventure! I love her dearly and I just wanted to show everyone how much she means to us. We take her everywhere with us, even to meet Santa Claus! She loves children and has been very good with Landon. Everytime she hears him cry she's the first one to the door of his bedroom. To some people she may be a little over bearing, but she means well. I love her so much!
