This was one of the best days of our lives! We finally were able to hold Landon on May 10, 2008. We had been waiting for so long, so it was very emotional. He was glad to be close to mom and dad. He was always aware of when we were around him. I would just place my hand on his tiny tummy and he would quiet down immediately. So precious!

Hello Petersen's! We too had our son premature, and know exactly how you felt. He was born in Laramie Wyoming, and was flown on Flight for Life to the Childrens Hospital in Denver. He was not able to breathe on his own and had a air picket next to his lef lung. He developed phnemonia, needed a feeding tube, and was struggling to breathe. I was never able to hold him until two weeks after his birthday, and it was the happiest day of our lives when we were finally able to. I am so happy to hear that he is home safe, healthy, and happy. Best of luck to your new family, and by the way, he is darn cute.
