Landon strikes again!

This is what I mean when I say Landon is very challenging. He is our "Curious George." This is what his dad found when he went outside long enough to turn the sprinklers on. Oh, and when he went outside Landon was outside and said he needed to potty....but he never made it there...

Let's make ice pops!

So now that we live in Vegas we need to adapt to the hot weather. How are we going to do that? According to Landon we have to make ice pops everyday. This was the first time we made them. I think they were a hit!

Funny Sleepers

These pictures just make me smile. They are funny even when they sleep....

The Splash Park (Where we discovered Landon can really run fast!)

This is the reaction I got when I told him we had to put on sunscreen.
This is him telling me the sunscreen was burning his face....The best part is that I hadn't even put it on his face yet...
I told him he should wear a hat so he wouldn't get a sunburn and this is what he brought to me. I don't think he unerstands that we live in the desert now...

Addison walked so much at the splash park. I was so proud of her. Since then she's back to taking her time and waiting on me to pick her up...

 Best friends

We went to the splash park near our apartments on a very hot  day. It was actually really fun! I learned that Addison isn't afraid of the water at all. I was constantly having to drag her out of the "big kid" area. She also walked a lot to splash in the water. She hasn't since then either....lazy little stinker! The kids all played really well together and had great time running and splashing around. Towards the end they wanted to play on the slides and jungle gym to dry off to go home. Like I said, it was a really hot day so the cement was hot, too. Out of the corner of my eye I see Landon booking it to me screaming, "Hot! Hot! Hot! Ouch mommy!" All I could focus on was how fast he was running!!! I know you're thinking I'm a really bad mom for not running to his aid immediately....but if you only knew how slow Landon is when he runs you would have done the same thing! Wendi and I were laughing for the rest of the day! Poor little guy probably didn't know why I was just starring at him, but I did tell him that I was glad to see that he actually could run fast....really fast!

Curtis turns 31!!!

May 29th was Curtis' 31st birthday. Landon was really excited! They had gone camping for the weekend and came back early because of bad weather. Curtis was really tired from camping so while he took a long nap Landon and I put together a birthday celebration. I have to say Landon was a lot of help. He was also so excited that it was his dad's birthday so he sang "Hap Birday to you" the whole time. We made him a cake and cards and invited his friends over.

Creature of the night!

When Landon arrived in Las Vegas with his daddy I had his "new room" all ready for him. I packed away all of his baby bedding and got him a "big boy bed." I got him new toys for his birthday, but because we were moving I didn't show them to him yet. So when he saw his new room with new toys he was so so so excited. I guess he was so excited that he woke up sometime in the middle of the night and had some play time. This is how I found him the next morning.

Lost Pictures (March 2011)

He loves to wear camoflauge. He calls it his "papa clothes." I assume because thats all my dad does is hunt...
My dad and Don saved a motherless fawn and Landon got to hold it. He was so gentle (trust me I was scared for the deer...) and just kept saying, " I wuv you baby deer."

Once he rides you can't get him off...literally!

I thought I had deleted these pictures but thankfully I recovered them! These are from our trip to Florida in March.
