He was looking for a good deal...
My dad's pride and joy all grown and gone now! No I'm not talking about me, I'm talking about the deer! :) This man is from Canada and he invented a pressure washer some years ago. He had really cool hunting stories...
Everyone was wiped out after a day at the zoo.
Doesn't this look so comfy? They were so tired after a full day at the zoo and so were we!
It's amazing how much better kids will act when they know they can get ice cream!
Gracie: "Get in da wudder and you feel bedder. Nana I wanna go simmin."
(This is Landon's reaction to the alligators...)
And this is Gracie's reaction: "I'm gonna to tell my mama I wanna baby gator. I wanna hold 'em." She cracks me up!
Just chillaxin' in the wagon!
She's such a good sport! I love her!
Gracie: "Dat's not a bird."
Brian is a family friend and Landon just kept staring at him with this face. It was hilarious!
He is going to a style icon. I just know it! He dressed himself in this ensemble...
In this picture my mom asked Landon if he was poop and he bent over and told her to "wook."
For my birthday I took the kids to Ohio (Curtis at this time was going to Las Vegas every week.) It was a lot of fun as always. I love to take the kids and let them go wild! I think I saw Landon on average 3 hours a day (most of the time to change his bum and to get him a "nack"). Addison was glued to Nana the whole time, so it gave me a chance to relax and wind down (well at least the second week I did). Gracie came to visit for the first week we were there. She is quite an interesting little girl with lots of attitude. She did the craziest things that made us so mad, but we couldn't stop laughing at the same time.
Gracie's sayings while in Ohio:
(Landon crying) "What's wrong Mister? You mommy slap you face?"
(I told Gracie she was freaking me out.) " I freak you out. I freak Nana and Papa out."
(Grace called to sing Happy Birthday. Nana told her she loved it.) "Mama, she hated it."
(I asked Grace why she was acting like a baby turd.) "I not a baby turtle."
(Looking at the alligators at the zoo.) "Aww. I'm gonna tell my mama I wanna a baby gator."
(I put her in time out for biting Landon.) "I don't wanna time out. I just peed. In Nana's bed."
It was quite the adventure, but when she left Landon and Papa never left each other. They ate ice cream EVERY night and Landon never let him forget that it was within reach in the freezer. I think they went through a pack of moon pies everyday. Dad had the inventor of the pressure washer come hunt on the farm and kill one of his "monster" bucks. He said this in front of Landon and when dad brought the deer up to show us Landon said, "He Rrroarr!" Landon also on this trip has started to call Aunt Kendall "Dis". I'm not sure where he learned it or why, but one night while saying prayers he said, "Papa, Nana, Don-Don, Dis" and as he says it he stares at her....(not so funny written, but hilarious when it happened.) Landon thought it was cool that Nana put on glasses to read the paper, so he tried to copy her and he would do exactly what she would do. If she pulled the paper closer to read it so did he. He was such a little shadow this trip! As for the girls we got two fondue pots and created our own Melting Pot and it was so AWESOMELY DELICIOUS!!! I cannot believe how good it was and we had so much fun doing it. It will definitely have to be a ritual we do when we're together!
